State Convention
March

Our
Registration Booth really set the tone for "Trails
Throughout Time" as fellow BCH'ers entered the onvention
area. Our kind and friendly hostesses, AJ Randolph, Lea
Williams, and Karen Kimball welcomed our registrants
with smiles and information
packets. |

Al Sims and Sonna Griffiths still
selling those raffle tickets.

On left is our past BCHI Chairman,
Bill Correll , receiving
an award for his service as Chairman.
I believe that is Val
Johnson presenting the award. If
I'm wrong, please let
me know ASAP. |
Tribal
Elder, Cliff SiJohn, welcomed us to
the Coeur d'Alene Casino with a story of
true horsemanship during "Trails
Throughout Time". He memorizes no
written word, as he is blind, but truely
speaks from his heart and life's
experiences. He's always a pleasure to
listen to, learn from, and he brings tears to
many eyes with his heartfelt messages.
Thanks Cliff!

This my friends, is
a rare photo. It's
Bernie
Lionberger doing what he does best. He's
always taking photos of our events, but rarely
does anyone get a photo of him while doing it.
Walt Glass snapped this one of Bernie taking
a photo of the Silent Auction. |

The
Silent Auction room was buzzing with activity as people
signed
their names to bid for wonderful items. There were many great bargins
to bid on, and many
happy winners at the end of the auction. |

Co-Chair,
Connie Glass, and Chairman, Sharon Bruce, were each
presented with a
dozen long stemmed roses by PBCH President, Bob Williams, for chairing the
State Convention. Thank you Bob, PBCH, and BCHI,
it was our pleasure! |

This
was a hoot.... our 3 Musketeers, Gene Bruce, Walt Glass,
and Al Sims,
auctioning off our table decorations. They are comedy without rehearsals, but
did
a darn
good job of selling all 30 pack strings. Thanks guys!
And
a special thanks to Butch Johnson for "REALLY" fixin' em! *Smile* |

I'm
not sure what Lyn Nale and Sharon Bruce were talking about,
but it must have been good 'cause Gene Bruce was sure payin'
attention!
Must have been mule talk! |

Bonnie
Shields, the famous BS, and Tennessee Mule artist from
the Brass Ass
Ranch in Sandpoint, along with her husband, Terry Steiner, did a comedy
skit for us
all. She was a radio announcer from "KBCH" Ride and Rant Radio
Station,
interviewing folks such as Mr. Stu Pendus, Mr. Dan Ruff, etc. NO... she's
not pickin'
her nose in this photo, but holding one side closed for that special
sound effect. Not
only a great artist, but a wonderful person, and comedian as well. Thanks
Bonnie!!! |

PBCH
member, Terry Sverdsten, far left, is also a member of The
Lake City
Harmonizers, and harmonize they do, very well. They did a wonderful job of
entertaining us with great old time cowboy songs. |
Here are two of our vendors. |
